Infrastructure Ontario (IO) and Metrolinx have awarded a contract of CAD729.2 million (US$604 million) to West End Connectors for the Eglinton Crosstown West Extension (ECWE) Advance Tunnel project. The team will be responsible to design, build and finance the project, which consists of approximately 6 kilometers of tunneling for the 9.2-kilometer extension.
