Agência Nacional de Transportes Terrestres (ANTT) in Brazil has awarded concession of  BR-153/414/080 / TO / GO highway system to consortium Eco 153 (Necton Investimentos). The winning consortium received a grant amount of R$ 320 million (US$59.1 million) and a fare value of R$ 0.10218 / km in homogeneous sections of single lane.

It is the first auction with a hybrid model, comprising a lower tariff (discount limited to 16.25%) and a higher grant.

PROPOSALS -  Another proposal was presented, in addition to the winner. The second bidder was the company CCR SA, of the Mundivest consortium, with a grant amount of R$ 117 million (US$21.6 million) and the same tariff value as the competitor.

THE CONCESSION -  The 850.7 km concession aims to exploit for 35 years, extendable for another 5 years, the infrastructure and the provision of public services for recovery, conservation, maintenance, operation, implementation of improvements and expansion of the capacity of the highways in the parts:

- Highway BR-153 / TO - From Aliança do Tocantins / TO to the state border with Goiás;

- Highway BR-153 / GO - From the border of the state of GO with TO to Anápolis / GO;

- Highway BR-414 / GO - From Assunção de Goiás / GO to Anápolis / GO; and

- Highway BR-080 / GO - From the junction with BR-414 in Asunción de Goiás / GO to the junction with BR-153.
