The City of Nuremberg has selected the winner for the school development PPP project in Werderau district, Germany.
The winning contractor is Goldbeck Public Partner GmbH, who will be responsible for the design, new construction/demolition, financing and management of the project. It includes the elementary school and associated after-school care center, the middle school, the triple and single sports hall with outdoor sports areas as well as the open spaces on Maiacher Straße.
The concession period will be 25 years from acceptance of the 1st construction phase and 23 years from acceptance of the 2nd construction phase. The procurement is covered by the Government Procurement Agreement.
The total value of the contract is EUR 62,842,792 (USD73.7 million).
