Ed. Züblin AG has been selected as the preferred bidder to develop the new Hanover (Germany) fire station through a PPP model.
Ed. Züblin AG provides building construction and construction engineering services in Germany and internationally. The firm will be responsible for the development, finance, operation and maintenance of the facility.
The total project investment is estimated at €54.5 million (US$59.8 million).
Hanover on the River Leine, is the capital of the federal state of Lower Saxony, Germany. With a population of 518,000, it is a major centre of Northern Germany and the country's thirteenth largest city.
We have recently reported that Hochtief PPP Solutions GmbH had been selected as the preferred bidder to develop the Aachen police station PPP project. The new police station, with a gross floor area of approximately 30,000 m², will have capacity for a total of 1,200 employees.
