Warbud signs court PPP project in Poland

Warbud SA, a subsidiary of Vinci, has achieved commercial closure for the development of a court PPP project in Nowy Sacz, Poland.

The project involves the development of new headquarters for the District Court in Nowy Sacz. Specifically the project includes the development and maintenance of the new facilities for a period of 20 years. The new courthouse will have an area of approx. 5500 m². The facilities, which include an underground parking, will have a total area of approx. 8200 m².

The team's proposal involves a total project investment of PLN122.9 million (US$33.5 million). The contract value is estimated at €100 million (US$105.8 million).

The project is expected to be operational by early 2018.

Nowy SÄ…cz is a town in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship in southern Poland. It is the district capital of Nowy SÄ…cz County. Nowy SÄ…cz is at the confluence of the Kamienica River into the Dunajec, about 20 kilometres north of the Slovak border.

In early February Vinci Aeroports S.A.S., along with Aeroports de Paris S.A. and Astaldi, was selected as the preferred bidder for the concession contract to expand and operate Santiago's international airport. The concession includes, among others, the development of a 200,00 m² new international passenger terminal. The total project investment is estimated at UF14.8 million (US$579.4 million).
