WAPPP Annual Congress 2022

This year 13-17 June 2022, WAPPP will host its Annual Congress under the main theme “PPPs for COP27 & Beyond”, with the aim to showcast the latest trends and developments in PPPs globally from both developed and developing countries. The event will include thematic webinars, panels, PPP units' presentations and subject matter expert debates to advance PPPs and particularly People First PPPs awareness, as well as address global challenges such as climate change, Just Transition, green energy, sustainable transport and urbanization, etc.

The event will be held over the week in virtual format, with the followings themes :

  • 1st day is devoted to Planning and future-proofing PPP Strategy and Frameworks
  • 2nd day is devoted to Adapting PPP Contracts and implementation to new realities
  • 3rd day is devoted to The view from the field and PPP Unit presentations
  • 4th day is looking at PPPs from different sectoral and thematic-based discussions
  • 5th day is focused on Looking forward to COP27 & Beyond and WAPPP awards
