VINCI Energies, the VINCI subsidiary specialising in energy services and ICT, has just finalised the acquisition of J&P Richardson Industries Pty Limited, based in Wacol, Queensland (north-eastern Australia).
Founded in 1958 by Joe and Patricia Richardson, the company, employs 500 people and generates annual revenue of about AU$130 million (US€85 million). It specialises in engineering, installation and maintenance of Electricity Networks, Water Utilities, Telecommunications and Industrial processes.
With J&P Richardson Industries Pty Limited, VINCI Energies boosts its positions in the Australian energy and transport infrastructure services market. At the end of 2015, VINCI Energies employed 500 people and generated around AU$140 million revenue (US€90 million) in Australia.
Following the recent acquisition of the HEB Construction and Electrix companies in New Zealand, this further move confirms the VINCI Group’s momentum in Oceania and more broadly exemplifies its expansion strategy in countries with high economic growth rates.
