Vinci acquires 4.7 of the capital of Aeroports de Paris

VINCI has announced today that it has acquired 4,643,968 shares of Aéroports de Paris (ADP) representing 4.7% of ADP's capital. VINCI said this acquisition was framed within the partial sale of the holdings of the French state and the French Strategic Investment Fund (Fonds Stratégique d'Investissement).

This transaction was made at 78.50 Euros per share for a total investment of 364.6 million Euros. Once the transaction is closed, VINCI will hold 8% of ADP's capital.

VINCI said they will propose to ADP, within the context of existing agreements, to enter into discussions to share their respective expertises, particularly in the area of international development.

France will also sell a stake of 4.81 percent to Credit Agricole Assurances, Finance Minister Pierre Moscovici said. The government and its FSI investment fund will raise €738 million euros from the sale of 9.5 percent, the minister said in a statement on Sunday.

VINCI and Credit Agricole Assurances will each get a board seat and have agreed not to increase their ADP stakes above 8 percent for five years, the finance ministry said.
