The Innovation Next+ team has landed a US$ 855 million design-and-build contract for a concourse and automated Skylink Station at Dallas Fort Worth airport in Dallas, Texas, USA.
The Innovation Next+ design-build team, led by Archer Western Construction based in Atlanta (a subsidiary of Walsh Construction in Chicago), will be responsible for constructing a new concourse building with dual access for aircraft. Covering nearly 400,000 sq ft, the structure will house a station for the airport's Skylink rail system, marking the airport's sixth terminal. The team includes contractors such as Turner Construction, builders H.J. Russell & Co., Carcon Industries, and Phillips May. The design team comprises the architectural firms PGAL, Gensler, and Muller2.
The concourse and Skylink station are integral parts of the broader US$1.63 billion Terminal F expansion. Scheduled to commence construction in June, the project is expected to conclude by Q2 of 2027. Additionally, the airport has other significant terminal projects underway, including the US$2.72 billion expansion of the Central Terminal Area, Terminal C, pier expansions off Terminal A, and roadway upgrades.
