The Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON) has awarded Miahona Company a contract worth SAR 1 billion (US$ 266.55 million) to develop an industrial wastewater treatment plant in Jeddah’s 1st Industrial City.
The project will involve the rehabilitation, development, construction, operation, and maintenance of wastewater treatment systems. The scope of the agreement also includes capital investment, land utilization, service delivery, and revenue generation through the sale of treated water. The project will be carried out under a 25-year rehabilitation, operation, and transfer (ROT) model. The Project scope includes:
