Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) has selected the Discovery Builders team to construct a new Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering Building (ISEB) for the University in Cleveland, Ohio, USA.
Discovery Builders, a collaborative effort comprising Turner Construction Company, Adrian Maldonado & Associates, Inc., Next Generation Construction, and The AKA Team, is spearheading the project. With a total expenditure of US$300 million, covering design, equipment, relocations, and miscellaneous soft costs, the venture aims to bring to life the five-story ISEB. This facility, featuring wet labs, dry labs, and various research spaces, marks the University's first major research infrastructure development in over twenty years, facilitating its ongoing research expansion.
The ISEB represents a modern addition, positioning CWRU to provide its students and faculty with advanced resources, thereby reinforcing the institution's national reputation in science and engineering. Spanning 189,000 square feet, the project is slated for completion in 2026.
