University of abuja seeks advisor for PPP projects

The University of Abuja, in the Nigerian capital Abuja, has recently launched a request for expression of interest (EOI) from interested firms for the selection of a Transaction Advisor for the development of PPP projects at the University campus.

The University is trying to asses the strategic fit, value for money and affordability for the procurement of investors to finance, maintain and operate different PPP projects on its campus.

Therefore, the University seeks Transaction Advisors to provide a broad scope of advisory services to assist in the procurement of these PPP projects. 

The scope of the transaction advisory services include among others:

  • Completion of project preparation, including PPP transaction structuring
  • Market sounding to confirm decisions on scope, structuring and timing of transaction
  • Financial analysis and modeling 
  • Upgrade the feasibility studies and any other report to outline business case (OBC) in line with the National Policy on PPP
  • Assistance in designing and managing the procurement and evaluation process and support to University Project Delivery Team (PDT) during the process

The two copies needed for the EOI must be submitted in the Reception Hall of the Senate Building in the University Campus before 12:00 pm on Monday 18th of April 2016.

The EOIs will be opened just after the deadline above indicated in the same building, and in the presence of all interested firms in attendance.
