Turner & Townsend appoints MD for UK business

Turner & Townsend, a construction and project management consultancy, has appointed Patricia Moore as Managing Director for infrastructure in the UK.

Patricia, who was previously Head of Rail, will be responsible for the firm's strategic direction and growth in the infrastructure sector.

Having worked with clients including High Speed 2 (HS2), Crossrail, Network Rail, Transport for London (TfL), Heathrow Airport Ltd and the Ministry of Defence, Patricia has extensive experience in successfully setting-up and delivering a number of the country's most complex programmes and projects.

Patricia will be taking the reins from Murray Rowden, who assumes the position of Global Managing Director Infrastructure, having led the division in the UK for four years. Murray also continues his responsibilities as chairman of the industry best practice organisation Constructing Excellence.

Commenting on her new role, Patricia Moore said:

"It is an exciting time for Turner & Townsend in the infrastructure sector and I'm delighted and honoured to be taking up this position. Right across the UK infrastructure sector, our 700 strong team is already making the difference on many of the country's most challenging programmes."

"Our clients remain focused on efficiency and achieving greater value. My objective is to cement our position in the market as the provider of choice for organisations looking to maximise the value and the performance of their assets."

Jon White, UK Managing Director commented:

"Patricia has already played a pivotal role in Turner & Townsend's infrastructure business and she will continue to strengthen our position across the UK."

"She is an outstanding leader with unique experience in major programmes and projects particularly during the critical front-end stage. Patricia will continue our mission in offering independent advisory and delivery services, which are built on knowledge and experience, delivering great outcomes for our clients."
