Trowers & Hamlins, an international law firm, has announced that partner David Vayro has joined its Projects and Construction team.
David will head up the North West Projects and Construction team in the firm's Manchester office. He joins from Gateley, where he was also a partner.
David's arrival further strengthens Trowers & Hamlins' national Projects and Construction department, which is led by Stephanie Canham and operates across the UK with teams based in London, Manchester, Birmingham and Exeter. The national team work in development, regeneration, procurement, and asset management, with particular sector expertise in energy and sustainability, education, transport and infrastructure, and housing.
The team's extensive client base includes residential and commercial developers, institutional investors, funders, housing associations, local authorities, governmental bodies, contractors, engineering companies and consultants, and these clients will benefit further from David's experience in construction projects and development.
David is a highly experienced construction lawyer, having worked with private and public sector clients, main contractors, specialist sub-contractors, construction professionals, developers and commercial owner-occupiers for over 20 years on both project and dispute work.
David also advises on all aspects of procurement (within the public and private sectors) and on PPPs, acting primarily for the private sector and funders. David's dispute work includes complex and high value construction and procurement disputes in the Technology and Construction Court (TCC).
