According to the Management Commission of Curitiba PPP Program (CGPP), Triunfo Participações e Investimentos submitted the best Feasibility Studies in response to the Request for Expression of Interest (PMI) to structure a Public private partnership project for Curitiba underground.

Four proposals had been submitted by private and public organizations:

• Triunfo Participações e Investimentos;
• C.R Almeida Engenharia de Obras, J. Malucelli Construtora de Obras, Ghella S.A,  Keolis S.A and Impregilo; and
• Intertechne Consultores S.A, Vertrag Arquitetura e Urbanismo and Tetra Arquitetura e Projetos.
• Movimento Passe Livre (MPL), a public organization.

The studies presented by Triunfo Participações e Investimentos will be used in 87%. In the coming months, the minutes of the announcement, contract and attachments must be published for public consultation purposes.

The tender for developers is expected to come to market in a period of a year.

In 2012, the city of Curitiba had already carried out a public consultation for the project but different problems made impossible the celebration of the tender process. In this context, a new PMI was called to re-structure the project in 2013.
