For the June quarter, toll revenue increased by 6.8% to A$207.1 million when compared to the prior corresponding period. Proportional toll revenue, which Transurban believes is the most accurate reflection of the portfolio's performance, increased by 7.1% from the prior corresponding period, to A$256.5 million.

For the full year ended 30 June 2013, toll revenue increased by 4.7% to A$801.2 million when compared to the prior corresponding period. Proportional toll revenue increased by 5.0% to A$991.41 million when compared to the 2012 full year result.

In Melbourne, Transurban's largest asset, CityLink, recorded 5.6% revenue growth on the back of 3.2% traffic growth for the final quarter of the year. In Sydney, progress on the Hills M2 Upgrade contributed to traffic growth on the M2, Lane Cove Tunnel and Westlink M7. The upgrade project is now in its final stages and is expected to reach completion in August 2013.
