The city of Hamilton, Ontario (Canada), has issued a request for proposals (RFP) to hire a transaction advisor for the city's Biosolids management PPP project.
The objective of this service is to assist the city with the development and management of a tender process for the selection and execution of the PPP agreement and to provide oversight during the construction phase of the PPP project through to successful construction completion and commissioning of the project.
The city expects that the transaction advisor will comprise several organizations that team to collaboratively deliver project management, financial, technical and legal advisory services.
The project will be developed on a design, build, finance, operation and maintenance basis. The new facility will treat biosolids processed by the City's wastewater treatment system into a more safe and stable product capable of being marketed as a fertilizer or used to generate energy.
Interested parties must submit their proposals on or before 15 August 2014.
