Three teams shortlisted for Kuwait schools PPP

The Kuwait Authority for Partnerships Projects (KAPP) in collaboration with the Ministry of Education have shortlisted three teams for the Kuwait Schools Development Program.

The shortlisted teams are the following:

  • CCC Consortium comprising of Consolidated Contractors Group, Privatization Holding Company, National Industries Group Holding and The Morganti Group.
  • Alagran Consortium comprising of Alargan International Real Estate CO. KSCP, Alargan Real Estate Project Management CO., Alargan Gulf Real Estate Service, Index Trading & Contracting co. Precast & GCR, Mohamend Abdulkhuder Ibrahim Consultant and KFM Holdings Sdn Bhd.
  • KSDP Consortium comprising of United Real Estate Company S.A.K.P., Projacs International Project Management Co., Dar SSH International Engineering Consultants WLL, United Building Company and United Facilities Management Co.

The project will be procured as a design, build, finance, operate and maintain basis for a period of 25 years after construction.

The project includes the development of 9 schools (5 Kindergartens, 3 Elementary and 1 Middle School), 1 residential building for female school teachers and 1 Olympic size swimming pool in the State of Kuwait. The new schools will have a combined capacity of 4,350 students, the residential building will entail 431 studios and the Olympic size swimming pool will comprise 10 lanes.

We have recently reported that KAPP had shortlisted seven teams for the Al-Khairan independent water and power project (IWPP) project. The IWPP project will involve the development design, engineering, construction, ownership, operation, maintenance and transfer of a power generation & water production facility for a 25 year period.
