Three teams shortlisted for Ireland's M11 Gorey to Enniscorthy PPP road project

Three teams composed of leading European PPP developers have qualified for Ireland's M11 Gorey to Enniscorthy PPP Scheme. Those which have been shortlisted are:

The DirectRoute consortium, which includes Strabag and Sisk, did not qualify.

Halcrow Barry, the Irish subsidiary of Halcrow Group Ireland, was selected as the technical adviser to the National Roads Agency (NRA).

The National Roads Authority of Ireland invited infrastructure developers to tender on the design, build, finance, operate and maintain basis for the M11 Gorey to Enniscorthy PPP Scheme. The deadline for the submissions of requests to participate was 1 October 2013.

The proposed M11 Gorey to Enniscorthy Motorway comprises the construction of three new sections of road namely sections of the M11, N30 and an N80 link. More particularly it is envisaged that the PPP Project will comprise works of approximately 26km of mainline to motorway standard (M11 route), 4km of dual carriageway (N80 Link Road) and 8km of single carriageway (Enniscorthy N30 route).

The estimated investment value for the project is €200 million.
