Infrastructure Ontario and the Ministry of Transportation have announced three shortlisted teams for the development of the Highway 3 Expansion PPP project in the County of Essex, Canada.
Selected based on criteria identified in a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) process, these three teams are invited to submit proposals to design, build and finance the project. The Request for Proposal (RFP) is expected to be issued in late fall 2021. The Highway 3 Expansion project involves the construction of extra 15.6 kilometers and widening the highway from two to four lanes from the Town of Essex to the Town of Leamington.
