Three teams expressed interest for the ITS PPP project in Greece

Three teams have submitted expressions of interest for the development of an integrated traffic and parking control system (ITS) through a PPP project in Greece.

The three teams are the following:

  • Polis Park
  • Kafsis
  • Neurosoft SA - Get Abete

The private partner will undertake the construction, operation, maintenance and management of an integrated traffic and parking control system for a period of 15 years.

The new infrastructure is expected to attract investments and will be implemented with the private partner's funds, equity and debt.

With the completion of the works, in conjunction with the the new Central Fish Market in Athens, the first integrated food market in Greece will have been established. The the new Central Fish Market in Athens budget is €13 million (US$16.4 million) and the duration of the contract is 25 years.
