Rijksgebouwendienst, the Dutch Government Buildings Agency (RGD), has issued a contract notice for a PPP project to re-build the Rechtbank Amsterdam courthouse.
The project will be developed on a design, build, finance, operation and maintenance basis. The PPP contract is for a period of 34 years.
The project involves the reconstruction of the court with a development right of 60,000 m² gross floor area. In addition to design, construction and financing the project includes:
Interested parties must submit their proposals on or before 1 September 2014.
The project will be located in the current court location, Parnassusweg 220 in Amsterdam. The new court is expected to be operational by 2020.

In late April this year Rijksgebouwendienst launched the competitive the dialogue stage to develop on a design, build, finance and maintenance basis the Utrecht Button Barracks in Holland. The object of the project is to develop the building into a modern state office where from 2017 on various government departments will be located.
