Tender launched for Sulmona hospital PPP project in Italy

The local health unit of Avezzano-Sulmona-L'Aquila, in Italy, has launched a tender process for the design, construction, operation and maintenance of a new building to use as a health care facility as part of the Annunziata di Sulmona hospital under the Public Private Partnership (PPP) model.

The deadline for submissions of proposals is 25 November 2013.

The estimated investment for the project is €19.23 million.

Sulmona is a city and comune of the province of L'Aquila in the Abruzzo, Italy, with around 25,000 inhabitants. It is in the Valle Peligna, a plateau once occupied by a lake that disappeared in prehistoric times.

    Morgan Stanley Infrastructure acquires stake in Venice airports

    Italian insurer Generali has informed that it has sold its indirect stake in Venice airport operator SAVE for €60 million (US$82 million), as part of its efforts to sell off non-core business interests. Generali owned a 33.5 % stake in Agorà  Investimenti S.r.l. which controls 38.9 % of the shares of SAVE, the company that owns the airports."The deal was closed for a total gross consideration of approximately €60 million, reflecting a €13 per share valuation of SAVE," Generali said in a statement.
