Tender launched for South Africa waste PPP project

The Greater Tubatse Municipality has launched a Request for Proposal for the delivery of an integrated solid waste management service for the Municipality.

The service will include the rehabilitation for closure of the current landfill in Burgersfort and the finance, design, construction, operation and maintenance of the Appiesdooringdraai landfill for the Greater Tubatse Municipality.

Submission of a proposal will commit the preferred bidder to enter into negotiations for an agreement in relation to the provision of the services.

The rational for the project is to seek services of a competent private service provider that can deliver a technically sound and financially viable integrated  waste management solution to the Greater Tubatse Municipality.

The project term is 12 years from the effective date of the PPP Agreement.Source: Tubatse City
