Tender launched for Dutch town hall PPP project

The municipal council of Westland (Netherlands) announced that it has launched a tender process for a town hall PPP project. Westland is a municipality in the western Netherlands, in the province of South Holland.

The project will be developed on design, build, finance, maintain and operate basis (DBFMO) and services such as catering, cleaning and surveillance and security. The contract is for a period of 25 years.

The project involves two parts, the Westlands Audience and Civic Center and the Municipal Office.

The municipality intends to award the project in January 2015. Planned completion date is 4th quarter 2016.

The municipality is planning a one-time payment that will be included in the DBFMO agreement. This one-time payment will be paid upon completion of the project.
