Tender launched for commercial development at Accra airport through PPP

On 18 September 2013 the Government of Ghana launched a tender for the development of the mixed-use commercial facility under a PPP arrangement at Accra airport.

Two public sector entities jointly own a 3.00 acre parcel of land situated within the high value commercial precincts of the Kotoka International Airport.

Credible private investors and operators are hereby invited to make offers to utilize the land for the development of office/mixed-use commercial facility under a Public Private Partnership  arrangement. The private party will design, finance, build, operate, maintain and transfer the facilities back to the public entities after an agreed period.

This invitation is open to all local and foreign eligible and interested investors. Local entities may team up with international entities it they prefer. All proposals received will be assessed based on their Value for Money and the Most Economically Advantageous Tender  will be awarded a contract for the project.

The documents will be available from Wednesday, September 4, 2013. The deadline to present the documents is 22 November 2013.
