The Saudi Water Partnership Company (SWPC) has issued an Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the development of the Riyadh – Qassim Independent Water Transmission Pipeline (IWTP) of the Eastern Supply Group.
The selected developer or developer consortium will be responsible for the project on a Build, Own, Operate and Transfer (BOOT) basis. The private partner will provide the entire transmission capacity to SWPC under a Water Transmission Agreement (WTA) for the 35-year term. The project involves the development of the IWTP with a transmission capacity of up to 685,000 cubic meters per day and a length of 1,392 km.
Synergy Consulting is acting as lead and financial advisor for the project, while Amer Al Amr Law Firm is legal advisor and Fichtner GmbH is technical advisor.
