The Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation (MCVS) and PROINVERSIÓN have presented to potential proponents and bidders the most relevant technical and legal aspects to consider for the preparation and presentation of proposals on four new PPP projects, which will benefit the departments of Piura, Lambayeque, Lima, Huancavelica and Apurímac. The required total investment for all 4 projects is approximately PEN1,141 million (US$ 313.29 million).

The projects are part of the Ministery's strategy to reduce the gap in infrastructure and sanitation services in 5 provinces, creating better living conditions for more than 622,000 residents. The tender is expected to attract investors and companies that operate or provide services in the sanitation sector.

ACS Group, through its subsidiary Iridium, has successfully priced a new EUR 501 million (US$ 559.72 million) 144A/Reg S Bond for the partial refinancing of Line 2 Lima Metro Project in Peru. At pricing, the offering, was more than 7 times oversubscribed, illustrating the strong market appetite for this project. The final book will include over 80 buyers, including some of the largest and most sophisticated institutional investors in the market. The issuance constitutes the largest Infrastructure Bond deal in Peru this year. Likewise, the bond issuance closing is expected on August 01, 2019.
