Alberta Public Sector has issued a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for the Design, Build, Finance and Maintenance of the Red Deer Regional Hospital, Ambulatory Building in Alberta, Canada.
The building will house various outpatient clinics, reducing the need for patients to travel long distances for specialized care. It will also feature expanded surgical space, diagnostic imaging facilities, and a dedicated cancer treatment center. This will not only improve patient experience but also streamline healthcare delivery, freeing up capacity in the main hospital for more complex cases.
The CAD1.8 billion (US$1.34 billion) project is currently in its planning stages, with construction expected to begin in 2024 and completion scheduled for 2026. The new Ambulatory Building is a much-anticipated development for the Red Deer community, promising to bring a wider range of high-quality healthcare services closer to home for residents.
The closing date for this RFQ is February 29, 2024. Additional details regarding this tender can be accessed through our Business Opportunity page here.
