Tender issued for Student Housing PPP project in Canada
Algoma University has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Design Build Finance and Maintenance (DBFM) of a new student residence building for its Brampton campus in Ontario, Canada.
Algoma University in Brampton requires an off-campus residence that can house around 350-450 students and is requesting proposals from competent developers and builders to construct a modern and energy-efficient building within a two-year timeframe. The design should have a contemporary feel, use high-quality materials and incorporate sustainable features while meeting local building codes and standards and providing a safe, cost-effective living space to support the well-being of the diverse student population. The term of the lease would be ten (10) years, with multiple five (5) year options to extend.
