Tender issued for Staff Barracks PPP project in Belgium
The Urban Development Corporation (SAU) has issued a tender for the development of the new headquarters of the Firefighting and Emergency Medical Assistance Service (SIAMU-DBDMH) of the Brussels-Capital Region.
The scope of the project involves the development of a 46,000 m2 facility which includes emergency service, administrative rooms and rest and living quarters for the duty teams. It will be supplemented by 4,000m² of outdoor facilities. The site chosen for the establishment of the barracks is located on a parcel of the Port Business Park with an area of approximately 17,500m², bordered by public and private roads.

Major road PPP project launched in Belgium
The Flemish Government in Belgium through the government transport company “De Lijn” has launched the renovation project for the interchange at R0 ring around Brussels and A201 highway. The current Turbine interchange is too large in relation to the traffic produced, which will be replaced by a Single Point Interchange (SPI). The bridges of the roads are also in poor condition and need urgent replacement.
