Tender issued for Radiotherapy centers PPP project in Uzbekistan

The Ministry of Health in Uzbekistan has launched a request for expression of interest (RFEOI) seeking a private partner for the development of radiotherapy centers. Under the concession, the private partner will design, finance, build, operate and maintain four outpatient radiotherapy centers with an overall minimum capacity of 90,000 radiotherapy fractions per year in four regions of the country.

International Finance Corporation (IFC) is acting as the lead advisor to authority in tendering process. Rebel Group, Pinsent Masons and Kosta Legal are providing specialized consultant services. The tender is expected to be conducted in two stages. In the first stage, private companies will be required to submit prequalification applications. The formal prequalification process is expected to be launched in March 2022. In the second stage, prequalified companies will submit technical and financial proposals.
