The Ministry of Investment and Economic Development in Poland has launched a tender notice seeking a private partner to develop five state archives buildings with a cumulative carpet area of 28,021.37 sqm. These buildings will be located in Koszalin, Łódź, Piotrków Trybunalski, Poznań and Szczecin.
The private partner will be responsible for the design, finance, construction, reconstruction, or expansion of the existing building as well as maintenance of the archives for a concession period of 25 years. The estimated investment amount of the project is PLN280.56 million (US$70.29 million). The aim of the PPP project is to improve the possibility of collecting, securing and sharing archival materials and to optimize the storage conditions in 5 facilities.
