Infrastructure Ontario and Kingston Health Sciences Centre have launched a request for qualifications (RFQ) for teams for the development of the Kingston General Hospital Phase 2 Redevelopment project.
The PPP project will be delivered under Design, Build and Finance model. Based on this RFQ, the authorities will prequalify teams with the required design and construction experience applicable to the project, as well as the financial capacity to deliver a project of this size and complexity. The next step, the request for proposals (RFP) is expected to be released in winter 2022.
The Kingston General Hospital redevelopment will be designed and built to meet the Canada Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Silver standards.
The deadline to submit the responses is October 11, 2021. More information about this business opportunity is available here.
