Tender for University of Grenoble DBFM launched

PRES Université de Grenoble launched on 19 July 2013 a tender for the Design, Construction, Development, Finance and Maintenance of a maximum of four buildings part of the human and social sciences department.

The object of the contract includes:

  • Rehabilitation and construction projects with a total area of about 17,000m² on different buildings:
  1. Sciences de l' Homme et des Mathématiques (BSHM):  phased reconstruction of 6748m² and new construction of approximately 1400m²;
  2. Espace Européen des Sciences Sociales (EESS) and DROIT 2: reconstruction of two new buildings (about 7386m²);
  3. Espace Scénique Transdisciplinaire (EST): construction of 150-seat room.

The project will improve the energy performance of buildings and will integrate photovoltaic systems.

The deadline for the receipt of proposals is 17 September 2013. The term of the contract will be 28 years.

    Eiffage concessions unit performs strongly in H1 2013

    Eiffage has reported that sales in the first half of 2013 came to €6.5 billion, down by 1.3% year-on-year and by 1.6% like-for-like. However, sales for the second quarter of 2013 came to €3.6 billion, up by 1.3% year-on-year.The order book stood at €12.5 billion on 1 July 2013. This represents a 2.5% increase compared with 1 January 2013 (a 7.7% decrease year-on-year).In Concessions, total traffic on the APRR (the motorway subsidiary of Eiffage in France) network increased by 0.2% in the first half of 2013 compared with the year before. Consolidated sales contributed by APRR increased to €1,001 million up by 1.9% from €983 million in the first half of 2012.Overall traffic on the Millau Viaduct reduced by 0.8% compared with the first half of 2012 (after a 2.0% decrease in the first quarter of 2013). Revenues increased by 3.6% to €14.5m in the first half of 2013. Read more

    Grenoble University PPP project signed

    A consortium formed by Fideppp (a fund managed by Mirova, subsidiary of Natixis Asset Management), GCC Group and IDEX has signed a PPP contract with the University of Grenoble for the construction of 3 buildings (PILSI / ESD / BEeSY) with an investment of 54 million €. This project is the largest real estate investment in the university area of Saint-Martin D'Heres in the last 30 years. Read more
