Tender for Kindersley wastewater P3 delayed

The deadline for submissions to the Request for Proposals for Kindersley Water Treatment Plant has been extended to from Friday July 19th to Friday August 2nd  in order to give proponent's additional time for comprehensive research to define the opportunity.

The Town of Kindersley in Saskatchewan, Canada, is soliciting proposals from interested and qualified companies to form a Public Private Partnership (PPP) to access and utilize the wastewater that is discharged from the Kindersley Water Treatment Plant. The successful proponent will determine the most appropriate method of accessing the water as well as suggest a viable partnership structure between the Proponent and the Town.

The objective of this Request for Proposals is to increase availability of water for commercial/industrial use, minimize the amount of water wasted through the treatment process through a capture and repurposing of wastewater, and to minimize the strain on public infrastructure caused by heavy water consumption.

The tender process was launched on July 8,2013.
