Tender for German municipal archives PPP

The Bentheim County (Grafschaft Bentheim) has issued a tender for a PPP concession to design, build and finance a municipal archive in Nordhorn, Lower Saxony, Germany.

The new building will include archive, storage and workshop areas, a library and a media agency, group and individual work spaces and other offices with a total floor space of 1,500 m².

The property will be owned by the county during the term of the contract. The necessary measures for soil remediation are completed and the necessary measures for groundwater remediation are currently going on. A soil report with recommended foundation is part of the tender documents.

The contract will have a period of over 30 years from acceptance of the works.

The deadline for submissions of proposals is May 7th, 2014.
