Tender for citizen service units through PPP attracts one bidder in Espiritu Santo

The tender process for the administrative concession of the citizen service project, Faça Fácil, in the state of Espiritu Santo (Brazil), only attracted one bidder: the group 'Grupo Faça Fácil Cidadão'.

The mentioned consortium is composed of local companies:

  • Socicam Administração, Projetos e Representações Ltda.;
  • TB Serviços, Transportes, Limpeza, Gerenciamento e Recursos Humanos S/A;
  • 3P Brasil - Consultoria e Projetos de Estruturação de Parcerias Público-Privadas e Participações Ltda.; e
  • Empresa Tejofran de Saneamento e Serviços Ltda..

According to PPP Brasil, the project could be awarded to the only proposer given that the technical ad economic proposals were accepted.

The object of the contract is the implementation, management, operation and maintenance of three fixed citizen service units located in the municipalities of Serra, Itapemirim and Colac. The contract also includes the operation, management and maintenance of the fixed unit located in Cariacica.

The term of the contract will be 12 years and its estimated revenue value is R$ 833,150,000.00 (US$369 million).
