The consortium formed by Nippon Koei, Nippon Koei Latin America - Caribbean Co. Ltd and Gabinete Técnico, SA, comprised of companies from Japan and Honduras, will be the advisor to the Government of Honduras for the design and construction of the Touristic corridor highway concession awarded to the consortium Canal Seco, made up of companies in CA CI Grodco of Colombia, Panama SA Grodco and Construction Professionals Honduras.
Five proposals submitted bids for the advisory contract:
- Consorcio Consultores en Ingeniería S.A de C.V (CINSA) from Honduras and Consultoría Colombiana S.A. from Colombia (CONCOL).
- Consorcio Narval Ingeniería S.A., from Spain and Asociación de Consultores en Ingeniería, S de R.L. from Honduras (ACI).
- El Consorcio Nippon Koei Ltd from Japan, Nippon Koei Latin America - Caribbean Co. Ltd, both from Japan and Gabinete Técnico, S.A de C.V from Honduras (GATESA).
- Consorcio Saybe y Asociados, S de R.L and Asociación de Profesionales, S.A de C.V (ASP CONSULTORES), both from Honduras.
- Consorcio Técnica de Ingeniería, S.A de C.V (TECNISA) from Honduras, Consultores Asociados de Honduras, S de R.L de C.V (CONASH) from Honduras and A.C.I Proyectos S.A from Colombia.
The Consortium consisting of

Ltd, both from Japan and the Technical Office, SA de CV from Honduras earned the highest score of 93,485 as a result of the weighting of the technical and economical proposals.The amount offered by the consortium was $3,310,050.17 for the Supervision of Works of the
