Susi Partners seeks EIB financing for Susi Renewable Energy Fund II

The European Investment Bank has in its pipeline the financing amount of €66 million for the SUSI Renewable Energy Fund II, which is a fund investing in renewable energy projects, mainly in Europe, promoted by SUSI Partners.

The fund's strategy is dedicated to renewable energy infrastructure projects, with a focus on small to medium solar photovoltaic (PV) and onshore wind investments. The SUSI Renewable Energy Fund II is the successor of SUSI's first Renewable Energy Fund.

The fund, with a target size of 400 million, has already been subscribed by investors of the first SUSI Renewable Energy Fund. Building on the successful strategy of SUSI's first Renewable Energy Fund, the successor fund invests in a geographically diversified portfolio of operational and fully permitted solar and wind power plants across Europe.

The fund reached its second closing in August 2015 at around €120 million, with a customer base that includes a number of institutional investors from other SUSI funds. Six months after the first closing the committed capital was fully allocated. The assets secured are located in Germany, France and Portugal with an aggregated capacity of 130 MW.
