Steve Janes becomes F1F9's Director of Business Development

The head of US financial modelling firm, The Vair Companies, has joined European leaders F1F9.

Steve Janes, former Managing Director of Vair, will become F1F9's Director of Business Development in a move that marks a strengthening of the relationship between the two firms and establishes F1F9's presence in North America.

Together, Vair and F1F9 combine to make the largest dedicated financial modelling and training provider in the world.

Steve explained that his appointment was good news for the clients of both businesses. He said:

"For some years now Vair and F1F9, as the world's leading dedicated financial modelling firms, have enjoyed a productive and mutually beneficial relationship, bringing greater insight and expertise to all our clients around the globe.

"My move to F1F9 will mark the next stage in the development of this partnership and ensure that Vair's loyal clients have access to a broader suite of financial modelling courses in global locations, as well as F1F9's model-build services."

Steve will develop, coordinate and run F1F9 training programs while continuing to work closely with Vair and its international course offerings.

Kenny Whitelaw-Jones, Managing Director of F1F9, said Steve's appointment was key to the firm's strategy to develop and expand the financial modelling and training sector over the next five years. He said:

"The combination of Steve's experience working with Vair, and F1F9's reputation for first-class training and modelling is a winning combination.

"We look forward to welcoming Steve onto the team as he helps us to grow in key geographical and industry markets."
