Societe Generale appoints Head of Infrastructure finance

Societe Generale Corporate & Investment (SG CIB) has announced the appointment of Laurent Bouchilloux as Head of the infrastructure project finance Paris team, effective 1st September 2014, taking over from Hervé Le Corre who has moved to another role within Societe Generale Group.

Based in Paris, Laurent is heading a team of professionals active in France and abroad in coordination with the other infrastructure project finance teams within SG CIB.p. He reports to Denis Stas de Richelle, Global Head of Infrastructure & Asset Based Finance.

Since 2007, Laurent has actively participated in the development of SG CIB's infrastructure project finance franchise, leading a number of key greenfield or brownfield infrastructure concession or PPP transactions across Europe, Middle East and Africa, notably for transport or public building infrastructure such as the L2 motorway in Marseille, the Tours Bordeaux High Speed Rail Link in France and the R1 motorway in Slovakia.

Laurent's expertise will be valuable to further developing business with SG CIB's core clients in the infrastructure sector.

Laurent Bouchilloux joined Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking in 2007 in the infrastructure project finance Paris team. Prior to this, he had gained 7 years of experience in several structured finance fields such as structured asset finance at HSBC from 2000 to 2004 and then project and asset based finance at RBS until 2007. Laurent Bouchilloux is a graduate from ESSEC.
