Societe Generale appoints director of infrastructure financial advisory team

Societe Generale has appointed Marie Vinnell as director of the newly established infrastructure financial advisory team in Australia.

Vinnell is based in Sydney and will report to Gavin Munro, head of infrastructure finance for Asia Pacific at the French bank.

In the period 2009-2015, she had different roles in Westpac. More recently, she was the Portfolio Manager of Government & Education, Health and Diversified Relationships of Westpac. She managed the lending portfolio across all levels of the Australian Government (Commonwealth, State, Local and Government), Health and the Diversifieds portfolio of around 250 companies. She led a team of credit analysts from experienced professionals to recent graduates.

From 2011 to 2009 she worked on project finance activities specialising in the infrastructure sector in Sydney, London and New York at Societe Generale.
