The University of Western Macedonia (UoWM) has received 6 Expression of Interest (EOI) for the first phase of the competition for the Establishment of Student Hostels on the University Campuses.
The project involves building student residences and facilities across four campuses in Greece: Kozani (350 beds), Florina (150 beds), Kastoria (150 beds), and Ptolemaida (100 beds). In Kozani, the development includes dormitories, catering buildings, and a 700-person conference center. Florina’s project includes 150 dormitories and green spaces across four levels. Kastoria will have similar infrastructure spread over three levels, while Ptolemaida will build 100 dormitories on land from a former military campus. Each campus will feature communal and catering facilities, promoting academic and social engagement.
The private partnership body will be selected through the process of competitive dialogue and will undertake for a period of 30 years the study, financing, construction, operation and maintenance, as well as security/guarding and cleaning services of the student residences in the Kozani Active Urbanization Zone campus and the student residences on the Florina, Kastoria and Ptolemaida campuses, with a total capacity of 750 beds.
