Alberta Transportation has shortlisted three groups for the Deerfoot Trail rehabilitation PPP project in Calgary, Canada. In total, four teams responded to the request for qualifications (RFQ). The project includes the design, build, finance, and operation of the road from Stoney Trail South to Stoney Trail North.

These teams are invited to submit proposals until July 2022 to complete improvements on the road through a public-private partnership. The successful group will be selected based on the proposals and financial bids. Construction is expected to begin in autumn 2022 with the completion in autumn 2026.
The financial close has been achieved for the Matoba Fibre PPP project in Canada.
