Seine Saint Denis awards schools PPP

The Conseil général de Seine Saint-Denis has awarded the contract for the construction work and maintenance of 3 schools situated in Livry-Gargan, Montreuil and Aulnay-sous-Bois in Bobigny, a town in the northeastern suburbs of Paris (France). 

There were three bidders in the process. Finally, the contract was awarded to Maylia Partenariat, a special purpose vehicle formed by Fayat SAS, the fund DIF PPP infra 3 Luxembourg and Cofely finance and investment. 

The contract comprises the design, building, financing, operation and maintenance (DBFMO) of the schools PPP project. The total estimated value of the concession will stand at €94.62 million (US$ 104.66 million).

The project's scope encompasses:
I. The construction of a new college in Livry -Gargan will include the following units:
- Classrooms,
- Housing,
- Sports centres and outdoor areas.
II . The construction of a new school in Montreuil which will include the same equipment above referred.
III . The deconstruction and reconstruction of Christine de Pisan College - Aulnay-sous-Bois, which will also include the mentioned units.
