Saudi Arabia launches tender process for desalination-power project
The Water & Electricity Company (WEC) of Saudi Arabia has published a Request for Expressions of Interest for the Jubail Phase 3 Independent Water & Power Project, to be located on the Arabian Gulf Coast, approximately 18km south of the Jubail Industrial City, adjacent to the existing plant units (Jubail Phase 1, Jubail Phase 2 and Jubail RO plants), in the Eastern Province of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

RFP issued for sewage project in Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia's Water & Electricity Company (WEC) has issued a Request for Proposals to ten pre-qualified bidders for the Damman Independent Sewage Treatment Project. Proposals are sought for the development of a sewage treatment plant with a planned capacity of up to 330,000 m3/day, to be located west of the city of Dammam on the country's Gulf coast.

Water & Electricity L.L.C, the agency responsible for the sale and purchase of water and electricity and all required ancillary activities in Saudi Arabia, has issued a request for pre-qualification for Shuqaiq 3 Independent Water Project. It will be located in the city of Shuqaiq, on the Red Sea coast, approximately 137km north of the city of Jazan.
