Round Seven of the P3 Canada Fund is now open

Public private partnership (PPP) Canada opened on 13 April 2015 round seven of the renewed P3 Canada Fund.

The P3 Canada Fund was created to improve the delivery of public infrastructure and provide better value, timeliness and accountability by increasing the effective use of P3s.

The P3 Canada Fund is a merit-based program, designed to incentivize innovation in P3s as well as encourage inexperienced governments to consider P3s in public infrastructure procurements. It is the first infrastructure funding program, anywhere in Canada, that directly targets P3 projects.

PPP Canada looks to invest in P3 projects, through the P3 Canada Fund, that are:

  • Well-structured and deliver Value for Money;
  • Transfer substantial risks to the private sector;
  • Generate public benefits; and
  • Promote jobs and economic growth.

To date, $1.3 billion in investments has been announced to support projects across the country.

To be considered under round seven, applicants must submit their application to PPP Canada on or before 12 June 2015. PPP Canada has developed an application guide, which provides detailed information of the fund's eligibility criteria and evaluation process and detailed instructions on how to prepare a submission.

All applicants will receive written notification of PPP Canada's round seven screening decision in the fall 2015.Download application form round seven:http://infrapppworld.com/wp-content/uploads/application_formround_7_2015_en.pdfDownload application guide:http://infrapppworld.com/wp-content/uploads/application-guide-round-7-english-final.pdf
