Robert Doekes appointed as fifth partner of DIF

Dutch infrastructure fund manager, DIF, has announced that as of 1 January 2014 the firm is promoting its Head of Finance Robert Doekes to Partner.

The appointment makes Robert Doekes the fifth partner of DIF next to managing partners Wim Blaasse, Maarten Koopman, Menno Witteveen and partner Paul Nash.

Robert Doekes who has been with DIF since 2009 as Head of Finance is responsible for fund reporting, accounting, treasury, tax, legal, ICT and compliance. He was previously Chief Financial Officer of MCi (Mirror Controls International), responsible for finance and controlling, treasury, ICT, tax and legal affairs, from 2007 to 2009. Prior to joining MCi, Robert held several senior finance positions in companies such as Stork Aerospace Industries, DSM and Ballast Nedam.

He holds a Master's degree in Business Economics from the University of Groningen, the Netherlands and also completed a post-graduate study for Controller at the Free University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands. He is a member of the Dutch Institute of Chartered Controllers.

DIF is a fully independent dedicated infrastructure  fund management company managing funds of in total €1.6 billion. DIF has offices in Amsterdam, Frankfurt, London, Paris, Luxembourg and Toronto.
