Quebec tenders health DBF project

The Centre intégré universitaire de santé et de services sociaux de l’Estrie – Centre hospitalier universitaire de Sherbrooke, Quebec intends to construct a new building at the Fleurimont Hospital in Sherbrooke to house the mother and child centre and emergency department using a design, build and finance (DBF) approach.

The Québec government has designated the Société québécoise des infrastructures (SQI) to act as project manager.

This request for qualification is the first stage in the process of selecting a contractor. The SQI will then sign a contract with the contractor selected to carry out the project using a "design, build and finance" approach.

An information session and site visit will take place on August 23, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. Anyone who wishes to attend the session will need to register with the Société Québécoise des infrastructures representative.

The deadline for the submission of documents is on or before September 13.
